From property to gastronomy at The Fleur Bar & Bistro!

Morgan PerkinsAlready well known on the Cambridge property scene, Accent Property Management and Chard Robinson Directors Stephen Chard and Neil Robinson added another string to their bow recently with the acquisition of the former Fleur de Lys pub on Humberstone Road .

No strangers to food and drink themselves, Neil and Stephen embarked on an ambitious refurbishment programme and introduced a brand new kitchen and bistro to the premises. The Fleur Bar & Bistro subsequently opened in summer 2007 and has since proved a huge hit with both local people and visitors to Cambridge alike!

Well located close to the River Cam and city centre, it has been beautifully renovated throughout. Various exciting menus are available seven days a week at both lunch and dinnertime, with The Fleur Bar & Bistro also open for Sunday Brunch (seasonal) and Sunday Lunch. Able to cater for any kind of function or event, the venue is divided into two separate spaces, both of which are available for private hire at no cost.

What's more, there's a large car park to the rear, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens and a raised deck area with outside tables and seating.

Of the changes, Neil and Stephen said: “as with everything we've done in the past, this has been a great challenge and one we've thoroughly enjoyed working on. We also welcome new General Manager Morgan Perkins to the team. Together, we're now concentrating on moving the business forwards and to establishing The Fleur Bar & Bistro as a favourite venue in Cambridge for eating and drinking.”
